Toolbox


I generally don't encourage using tools and scripts to hack, but some of these tools are extremely useful and hard to find, so I decided to make them more easily available.

THESE TOOLS ARE NOT ILLEGAL!

None of these tools are inherently illegal or unlawful, however they can be used for such purposes. How you use them is up to you, but only you can be held responsible for your actions.


I've removed my own tools indefinitely. The rest are still available. If you are particularly interested in one of mine, feel free to contact me.

  • Numega SmartCheck v6.03  9,179,647
    A wonderful little program that lets you examine the code flow and structure of compiled VB programs. Great for reverse-engineering and cracking.
    Note: This requires a serial number which is NOT provided. You should be able to find one floating around on the internet, though.

  • Ethereal  ~11,000k (external link)
    My favorite packet sniffer. Windows and Linux versions available.

  • Emu8086  ~2,600k (external link)
    Simply the greatest assembler of all time (with a GUI). Comes loaded with tutorials and code samples. Makes assembly seem almost easy. Shareware, but worth the registration fee.

  • WinHex  ~455k (external link)
    My favorite hex-editor. Comes with file-recovery and file-shredding features. Also lets you read and write directly to and from physical disks. Again, this is a shareware program.

  • Brutus  ~330k (external link)
    Brute-forcing is usually frowned upon by most hackers, however there are times when it is neccessary. Brutus will let you brute-force almost any remote target (HTTP. FTP. et cetera).




    Also take a look at AnalogX' site. He has a ton of awesome tools, even though they're not really for hacking.
